"Potpourri" was named because Brenda and Angel had such a wide variety of taste in music, and the name seemed to fit. Since then their style of music has moved more toward "light" rock and "light" country, although they still enjoy playing all types of music, from classic rock to country to folk to gospel -- both cover and original.

Both members of Potpourri have been playing and singing since grade school; Brenda being self taught and Connie (Angel to her friends) with a more formal musical education. The two styles of approach to music compliment each other quite nicely.

Angel (left)and Brenda (right) currently live in central Maine, work full time, jam as often as they can, and generally enjoy life.

** The Behind the Scenes Members of Potpourri **

You'll probably never see them on stage, but the last two members of Potpourri are the power behind the scenes.
K and Maikel do just about everything, from running sound, to moving equipment, to driving us where we need to go.
Without their help and support, the on-stage members of Potpourri would be pretty lost.
We can't thank them enough for all they do.
