We decided on the name "Potpourri" originally because we had such a wide variety of taste in music, and the name seemed to fit. Since then our style of music has moved more toward "light" rock and "light" country, although we still enjoy playing all types of music, from classic rock to country to folk to gospel -- both cover and original.

Both of us have been playing and singing since grade school; Brenda being self taught and Connie (Angel to her friends) with a more formal musical education. The two styles of approach to music compliment each other quite nicely.

We're both married and our spouses support our musical endeavors. You never know where they may pop up - from joining in on some songs, manning the sound system or playing "roady" by helping with the equipment.

We currently live in central Maine, work full time, jam as often as we can, and generally enjoy life.
